Karen has been an Executive Coach since 2009. Given Karen’s organisational and leadership experience, she is able to quickly get up to speed with clients’ needs, understand the complexity of their environment and help leaders turn around de-motivated and under-achieving teams.
Karen has over 20 years’ experience up to Director level in operational management, client service and management consulting, established across the Financial Services industry and with blue chip/FMCG companies. Karen has worked with or for companies such as Fidelity Investments, Coca Cola, Premier Foods, Buena Vista, Tropicana, Kraft, Premier Foods, Neuhaus, Harper Collins, Allied Domecq, Bass, EMI and Tesco. Her approach to developing self-awareness and leadership skills has helped leaders improve team annual KPI results including increasing productivity by 20%, customer satisfaction by 14% and tenure by 26%.
Karen is a certified practitioner in Applied Neuroscience, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and a practitioner of the Thomas-Kilman Conflict Mode Instrument™ (TKI™).
Karen is passionate about and fascinated by people and convinced of their potential. She uses her knowledge of neuroscience to help clients understand what affects their working style, behaviour and interaction with others. This then leads on to a greater awareness of motivation, conflict management, feedback and problem-resolution; an approach that makes all leadership skills easier to understand, easier to remember and easier to implement in real-life situations.
